Back to Work:Week 2

Well, another week down! Malachi's three month birthday was on Friday...I can hardly believe he is that old!! It just seems like yesterday that I was still pregnant, wondering what my honey looked like. Time passes by so quickly. **sniff sniff**

On Tuesday, I set Malachi on his tummy to play for a bit while I put some lotion on his back. After a minute or so, he rolled right over onto his back. I didn't get too excited since he had one of his hands up in front of him and the other down lower so when he raised himself up he was lop-sided and that could have made him flip over. But then he did it again on Wednesday after his bath. Hmmm...could this be REAL rolling over. I know that it should be happening sometime soon, but I just don't know if this is it yet. He did it a third time later in the week, but it doesn't happen every time I put him on his tummy, so I guess we will wait and see!!

Samuel has been battling a cold since last week and I was hoping neither Malachi or I would get it, but I lost...I woke up with it this morning, so we skipped church this morning so I could get some more sleep. Malachi has been coughing quite a bit the last couple of days, but he has always been a cougher and I wonder if he is just discovering that he can make this noise and is exercising his right to do so!! No fever yet, so I hope he has dodged the bullet.

My mom's birthday was on the 17th of July--the big 5-0!!--and we are celebrating with her and her friends tomorrow night. She is being whisked away for a surprise day with her girlfriends...I am anxious to see what she gets to do!! We are all getting together for a special BBQ afterwards, so I made her and my dad (whose b-day is also in July) a card with one of my mom's favorite pics of Malachi. I just have to show off my creation...nothing special, but I think it's kind of neat.
The scan makes the pic look crooked, but it doesn't look like that in real life, promise!! :)

I feel guilty that I haven't been posting as often since I have been back to work, but I am having a bit of a time making sure I spend as much time as possible with my boys as well as getting house work done and making sure I look presentable at work, so this is one of the things that will suffer for a bit. I'm sure all you working mommas can sympathize! Hope you all have a wonderful week!!
