4th of July!!

We spent the 4th of July with Samuel's parents in Newport so that we could watch the big fireworks show the city puts on. We could see everything from the balcony of the hotel my in-laws were staying in. When the time came for the show to begin, we brought Malachi (all bundled up, of course!!) out to watch them. He just stared at them and kicked his legs and waved his arms all around...he LOVED them!! When they stopped, he kept looking all around like "where'd they go??" He loved spending time there since the hotel room had a big window he could look out of while he snuggled with grandma and papa. We even went down to the beach for a few minutes. It was very windy so we didn't stay long. He loved the sand between his toes!! What an exciting first 4th of July!!
