7 months

Monday marked Malachi's 7 month birthday. I can't believe he is that old already!! Where does the time go?? Hmmm...what new milestones this last month?? He can roll and kind of scoot to where ever he wants to go, loves watching basketball on TV with Daddy, has his two bottom front teeth, and LOVES to eat food. Prunes, sweet potatoes, and squash are his favorites. He is starting to wave and make hand gestures...he doesn't know what they really mean or when to do them yet, but he sure does have good timing! Just this morning, I said to Samuel after seeing something on TV "We should have gotten that instead of blah blah." Malachi looks at Samuel, holds his left hand out, shrugs his shoulders, and says "baba" as if to say "oh well". So cute. We came down with Mommy's nasty cold she picked up at work, so we are snotty and crabby today, but I did manage to get in some Buddy pictures before we got feeling too bad. Grandma Ramos got him a pair of Christmas antlers complete with feathery fur and jingle bells. All he has to hear is the sound of the bells jingling to get excited. Daddy was wearing one pair and making noise with them so that Mommy could get these cute pictures.

We also got our Christmas tree over the weekend. We all bundled up and headed to Palmer's tree farm in search of the perfect tree. Malachi seemed to have fun being outside, and looking at (and trying to grab) all of the trees. He was fascinated by the tree shaker and baler at the end.

Oh I just can't wait for this Christmas to come...it will be full of so many firsts and wonderful memories!
