Back in the cave

This is the second weekend in a row that we have been housebound. No church, no going to the store, just staying home (I have to tell you that this drives me a bit wacky!!). Last weekend, Malachi got a rash all over his body that was most likely a virus that had been a fever earlier in the week (didn't realize it since that was when we were struggling with all those teeth!) and then manifested itself as the rash. We were told that he would be contagious to children under 3, so we had to skip church and two birthday parties. This weekend, we are struggling with a tummy bug. He started vomitting Friday evening and then was having hiney problems yesterday. So far today, he has been pretty normal...eating a good sized breakfast and no bad hopefully we are on the downhill slide. I am a little worried since Malachi spent two hours in the nursery during the mom's group at church on Friday morning, so I hope he didn't give it to anyone else. Neither Samuel or I have it (I'm hoping that we are far enough out that it might skip us!!) and for that I am quite thankful. I can think of a million other things I would rather be doing! :) Well, I guess I can be thankful that it happened on the weekends so that we didn't have to miss work or interphere with other appointments and obligations. Hope you all are healthy and have a great week!
