Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommies out there! I hope you are having a very special day!
Today at church, we had the opportunity to have Sapphira dedicated. We were able to do this during both services. By the time second service rolled around, Malachi was not having anything to do with sitting still, so he wasn't able to stand with us during the dedication like he did during first service. Grammy was nice enough to take in out into the foyer after he melted on stage!! :) It was very special for us to be able to dedicate our daughter at the church, but a little bittersweet at the same time. One of the things pastor wanted us to dedicate ourselves as parents to do was to give our children back to God and raise them as He wants us to. This got me all teary-eyed since it got me to thinking that sometimes the Lord asks us to literally give our children back to Him. Here are some pictures from second service.
After church, we went out to eat with my in-laws, my parents and my grandparents. That was fun and Malachi got to give Grandma and Grammy the potted flowers he picked for them. During the week, we had taken him to the store and let him pick out the flowers he wanted to give to his grandma's and then I put some pictures of all three kids on popcicle sticks and stuck them in the dirt. I think they both liked them. Oh and we finally got a picture of the four of us!!! Yay!! Thanks Bobo for taking it! :)
