5.20.11--little visitor
While Samuel was walking through the front yard one morning, this little bird chirped at him. It stuck around near the front door all day. We tried to shew him into the plants along the front of the house to hide from the numerous neighborhood cats, but it just kept coming back out. It even let the kids get close enough for a good look. In the morning it was gone...hoping it learned to fly! :/

Oh my daughter is OBSESSED with birds! There is one Chinese restaurant out here that little ones like this hang around and we spend about 5 minutes trying to get her in and out of the restaurant because she has to say "hi" to EVERY bird!
