Deck the halls!

This year, a dear friend from work gave us a tree from his farm. Although we missed out on cutting down our own tree, we certainly had fun decorating our tree! This is the first year we have let the kids put ornaments on themselves (in the past we have always done it while they were napping or out of the house as a surprise), and they really enjoyed helping out.

Malachi insisted I take a picture of his Thomas "ornamen".  This is one of his favorites.

I tried changing the settings on my camera to play wih the Christmas lights...this was as good as it got.  Made me a little sad I didn't have a tiny baby to do this with...hopefully next year.

A happy way to start the Christmas season.
