Flower Child

There is something about flowers for Sapphira.  Every time we go somewhere, she finds at least a weed to pick "boo-ti-ful" flowers from and give to someone special.  She rarely wants to keep them for herself.  Over the weekend, we were doing some pruning and weeding and decided to hack off an overgrown rose bush.  As soon as the branches hit the ground, she pounced on the few pink roses that had bloomed and begged Daddy to clip them for her.  She spent the rest of the afternoon admiring her bouquet (she gave it a ride in her doll stroller!) and even asked me to find a vase to put them in once inside.  I guess when the flowers are beautiful and pink, she makes an exception to her generosity. :)
