The Ultimate Blog Party!!

Ultimate Blog Party 2008
Head on over to 5 minutes for mom...hope all you ladies join the party!! Hopefully someone I know will win one of the really neat prizes!! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Amy and I am a wife of 5 years (6 in August!) to Samuel, and a mommy to Natalie and Malachi. Natalie would have turned two years old this coming Friday (the 14th). She met Jesus when she was 2 days old due to a rare neural tube defect called acranina. She was an adorable little girl who we miss every day and can't wait to snuggle again when the Lord reunites us in Heaven. Malachi just turned 10 months old on Monday. He is a ball of little boy energy and puts smile on every one's face. I knew that I would like being a mommy, but I didn't think that I would LOVE it this much. It is the most wonderful thing that has happened to me (well, that and marrying my husband, of course!! haha) I love blogging because it is a great way to keep friends and family updated on our comings and goings without spending bunches of time emailing and calling everyone (even though I still like doing that!!). I also love blogging because of the different blogs I come across nearly every time I sit down to surf my favorites and all the fun and interesting people I get to talk with. I love reading other people's takes on things...helps keep things interesting!! So, go on over to 5 minutes for mom and join the fun!!!

Greetings from Arizona, Amy! I am glad to have gotten a chance to check out your blog. Being a mom is pretty cool isn't it? My son had the most impact on my life. My husband has too, but there is something about being a mom. God bless you and your family.

P.S. I think you have a lovely dedication to your baby girl, Natalie.

welcome to the party! I am due to deliver my first child this Sunday and am excited about starting this new stage in my life. I don't know what to say about sweet little Natalie except that I am so sorry. I can only imagine how hard it must have been. I'm glad to have "met" you through your blog.

Hi Amy

I am so glad I came across your blog. I just want to let you know that I am so sorry for your loss. I am a NICU nurse and I know that your struggle has been difficult. You are probably familiar with available resources but if you would like anything please let me know.
