I have always liked making crafts, but most recently, my interests have settled on scrapbooking. Since Sapphira was born, I haven't had blocks of time big enough to devote to scrapbooking and I have stumbled across several crafting blogs that are more focused on sewing and general crafting. New website

I recently ran across a new-to-me website called My Bloomin Belly. It is all about being pregnant and then a mommy. I think that it is so cute. It has articles about getting your baby used to the water (swimming and bathing) and about the pros and cons of epidurals. I like that it isn't one of those in-your-face type of sites that offer you information about things they have no experience in and tell you if you don't do things this way your a bad mommy and your kid will grow up wrong (we've all run across those, haven't we!!). The articles are more "this is what worked for me, try it and see what happens!!" Plus, and this has to be my favorite part, they have weekly giveaways!! This week they are giving away a $10 Target gift card! Who couldn't use that?!? I encourage you to stop on by, give it a try and at least enter to win...hopefully it will be one of us!! :)

Crocs giveaway!

I wasn't too excited about this giveaway until I actually read the details. Did you know that Crocs make fashionable boots and shoes?!? Kailani at An Island Life was asked to review a pair and said that they were really comfortable. And guess what?? You can stop by her blog and enter to win a pair for yourself!! Cloth Diaper Giveaway!!

I have wanted to try cloth diapers with Malachi. All I had access to was the fold up and pin type and when I did try them, we were going through our leak through every night stage and very squirmy stage so it ended up making an even bigger mess since he peed so much and I couldn't get it very tight. But I think that I might have found a solution. From Dates to Diapers is hosting a giveaway of some cloth diapers from Mandi's Menagerie. They have fitted cloth diapers with Velcro closures...they look just like disposables made out of flannel!! That sure seems like it would solve the too loose problem! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Amy and I am a wife of 5 years (6 in August!) to Samuel, and a mommy to Natalie and Malachi. Natalie would have turned two years old this coming Friday (the 14th). She met Jesus when she was 2 days old due to a rare neural tube defect called acranina. She was an adorable little girl who we miss every day and can't wait to snuggle again when the Lord reunites us in Heaven. Malachi just turned 10 months old on Monday. He is a ball of little boy energy and puts smile on every one's face. I knew that I would like being a mommy, but I didn't think that I would LOVE it this much. It is the most wonderful thing that has happened to me (well, that and marrying my husband, of course!! haha) I love blogging because it is a great way to keep friends and family updated on our comings and goings without spending bunches of time emailing and calling everyone (even though I still like doing that!!). I also love blogging because of the different blogs I come across nearly every time I sit down to surf my favorites and all the fun and interesting people I get to talk with. I found this contest on 5 Minutes for Mom. Jennifer Sprague is the owner of All Natural Mommies and the author of Adventures in Babywearing (this is a link to the contest post). She sells all types of really neat (and handy) carriers and is giving one away!!!
