7.31.10--Combines!!!

My Dad delivers to a company that is harvesting their fields right now and he made arrangements for Malachi to be able to ride in one of their combines! We waited until we got to the field to tell him what was going on and he was sooooo excited!!! He ended up getting to ride with Boppa for nearly 30 minutes and even got to dump a load of seed in a "big wagon" being pulled by a John Deere tractor...so exciting!!! :)

We got there just as a train crossed the road. We were out in the country so it went a lot faster than the one that goes by GaGa's house...wow!!

Even Sister noticed it!

We just told him he got to ride the combine that just turned the corner...what a happy boy!

Boppa and Malachi walking out to the combine.

Waving before getting in...can you see how excited he is?

If you look carefully on the right side of the picture, you can see his profile. I can tell he's a little unsure, but being with Boppa makes everything okay!
While Bubba got to ride, Sapphira got to run at the next door playground. She is so steady now and runs everywhere!
Not sure what this face is about, but it sure is cute!
Look!!!!...
I see a combine! She started yelling and squawking as loud as she could and getting really excited when she spotted one through the trees.
Walking back to meet Bubba and Boppa.
All done!
He talked about it all the way home and makes sure to tell people about it when he sees them. He got invited back when they harvest the wheat and is quite excited about being able to ride again. On the way home, we asked him if he would like to drive a combine by himself when he was big, and he said, "No. I don't want to. I think I'll just be a little boy for a long time." Good plan, Bubba, good plan! :)

Hi Amy! Just stopping by to visit! Your family is so beautiful! I really enjoyed looking at your photos. My favorite had to be the one of Sapphira holding in the little flower. Priceless! She couldn't be any cuter! :)
I love your blog- so pretty!
