I'm a copy cat...

...again! :) Apparently, I have an obsession with my friend over at HoneyScrap, since I copied another projects of hers! I first copied her alphabet wall art, and then she posted this necklace. Super cute and easy to make! Here's my version... I used some satin-y black cord for the chain that I took from another necklace I was given that I didn't like the the pendant on, the white and black beads got added to my stash sometime in the last 10 years, I bought the gray pearls about 5 years ago for less than $1, the two silver jump rings came from another broken necklace, and I cut the flower from the lining of an old suit coat Samuel didn't want anymore. I'd say a buck for a necklace is pretty good! ;)

I strung each of the sets of beads on matching thread and then tied the strings to a jump ring on each end. Then I strung the cord through the jump ring and then tied the end back onto itself. This is good because you can slide the knot making it adjustable. Then I made the flower just like Melissa says and added a little bit of lace and then sewed it onto one of the jump rings. So fun! Thanks for the idea Melissa! :)
